2025Can't envision a more enjoyable cruise
We can't envision a more enjoyable cruise. The places we went, the locals we met and the things we saw exceeded our expectations. Each port was unique, beautiful and fun. Nova Scotia is always nice. We have been several times on our own, but arrival by ship gave a beautiful new perspective. Greenland was spectacular—glaciers and massive mountains touch the ocean filled with icebergs. The 6 ports on Iceland were all wonderful. Our favorite may have been Ísafjörður—don't miss the bakery! One of the most surprising things we did was visit a tomato farm here and enjoyed delicious tomato soup. What can I say about Svalbard? It is 800 miles north of the Arctic Circle and very remote. That said, the grocery store was full of all the modern conveniences any resident or visitor may want, including fresh pineapples! What an incredible experience. Norway was by far the most beautiful place we have ever visited. We honestly can't choose a favorite port. All were amazing and wonderful. This short review barely scratches the surface of this unbelievable 29-day cruise.
