2025Viking is everything it promised to be
My husband and I had the trip of our lifetime with Viking and now are excited about traveling with Viking March 2025. Viking is everything it promised to be. The ship was a floating vacation paradise, of cleanliness, interesting activities and new daily discoveries. The food was amazing and the choices of many restaurants always an adventure. The staff was welcoming, helpful and always pleasant. It is easy to tell that Viking treats staff and guest well. The excursions are well planned, interesting and varied. Lots of daily choices. All questions are answered prior to departure and everything is taken care of during the journey. Viking is the choice for us! We felt treated like royalty in all aspects! We highly recommend.

2022Happy to have chosen Viking
This was our first ever cruise and we are so happy to have chosen Viking. Being newbies to the cruising experience, we relied on Viking to take care of the details and were not disappointed. A couple of issues with travel were seamlessly resolved by the Viking staff without our having to do a thing. Our ship, Viking Star, was lovely. The food was excellent! The staff was exceptional! Our cabin was very comfortable and the housekeeping crew for Deck 3 were wonderful, especially our room stewards, Earl and Jason. They took great care of us!! A highlight of our cruise was visiting the ruins of Ephesus with our guide, Begum. She made the tour fun and so interesting. As an added bonus, in Kusadasi, we were treated to a display of Anatolian carpets and saw a weaving demonstration...Impressive! So much so that we purchased a carpet to be shipped to our home. Another unforgettable excursion was the 4x4 Jeep ride up Mt. Etna...spectacular! The weather was very nice, although we did have a rainy day visiting San Gimignano in Tuscany; but it did not deter us from an amazing visit to an organic farm/vineyard for lunch. We could go on and on about all the wonderful places and sites we experienced. This is definitely a cruise we would certainly recommend to all! Now, we are trying to decide where we will go next with Viking

2024Worth the investment of time and money
Great trip. We did the pre in Tuscany, which was a wonderful chance to spend more time in Florence as well as the Tuscany area. Beautiful. The cruise itself had great service. The post tour was the five day in Athens, which was phenomenal and really the highlight of our trip. You may be tired from the cruise, and there are a few long days to Ephesus and Delphi, but it was worth it and we have zero regrets. If you want a better picture of Greece outside of Athens, then this will be eye opening for you. Stunning drives, particularly to Delphi. (Don’t pass up due to the long drive!) You will come home exhausted yet exhilarated. Epic journey and so worth the investment of time and money.
